What are Cultural Heritage Resources? According to UNESCO and others: cultural heritage resources include Tangible material remains or resources which can be perceived or touched, such as objects, artifacts, and sites; and/or Intangible resources which represent aspects of culture that include the oral traditions, customs, rituals, and sacred locations of societies, which embody past activities within the environment, and which are transmitted from past to future generations.
